Northern Midwest Zen Nippon Airinkai Koi Club

Website: "nmzna.net" The Northern Midwest Zen Nippon Airinkai Koi Club is a regional chapter of an international organization based in Beppu, Japan. Our goal is to spread the hobby of Koi (Nishikigoi) keeping and to improve the knowledge of the husbandry techniques and the appreciation of Nishikigoi as living art. Our club is also affiliated with the Associated Koi Clubs of America. We have members that live in Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Indiana. Our membership includes six nationally certified koi judges. Member's koi knowledge and expertise ranges from novice to expert. Meetings are held three times a year and include an educational meeting with a nationally known speaker, a meeting at a club member's home, and a Christmas party. The high point of the year is the annual koi show, which many members get a chance to display their koi to the visiting public and share their love for the hobby. Please Note: Membership fee is $110.00, payable to Northern Midwest ZNA Club. Membership includes yearly subscription to Nichirin magazine. At only $21 per year, a membership to INDMAS is a great way to improve your aquarium, help others, and save money through trading livestock, equipment and DIY ideas. INDMAS membership allows access to premium forums on this website, including the buy/sell forums, educational articles, dry good reviews, and a photo gallery where you can store your own tank pictures. Members are also eligible to participate in the raffle at our monthly meetings and receive free admission to the best annual frag swap in the midwest. Members can run as candidates for the board of directors and have a vote in the club's annual elections.

Indiana Koi Water Garden Club

Website: "koi-indiana.com" Welcome to Indiana Koi & Water Garden Club. The club was founded to support the Koi hobbyists. Meetings are held at various locations in Pendleton and Indianapolis area. Oftentimes, meetings are held at a member’s home on Saturdays. Monthly meeting allows member to learn and appreciate other member’s Koi collection and pond. We host an annual pond tour, and Koi Show. This annual event will be a great opportunity to meet many interesting Koi enthusiasts, see beautiful Koi, inspiring ponds, and gorgeous landscaped gardens. Exhibitors include vendors of Koi, pond equipment, supplies, art, jewelry, water plants, other Koi accessories, and free seminars on Koi topics. We are the Indiana Chapter of the Associated Koi Clubs of America. AKCA has Koi club chapters across the United States and conducts annual Koi seminars in cooperation with the local chapters.

Illiana Garden Pond Society

Website: "illianagardenpond.org/" The Illiana Garden Pond Society was founded in 1996 and is made up of a very ambitious enthusiastic group of people called “Ponders” who live in northern Illinois and northern Indiana who are interested in the creation and caring for ponds and their accompanying water gardens. The Illiana Garden Pond Society is a not for profit organization dedicated to pond and water garden education and care. Meetings are held the second Saturday of the month, at the St. John Public Library at 10am, except for June, July and August when they are held on Wednesday evenings at member’s homes. Come and enjoy listening to our speakers or find out how to algae-proof your pond. For whatever reason there may be, come find out what “Ponding” is all about.
