Website: "www.gslas.com" The Great Salt Lake Aquarium Society of Utah is a non-profit club dedicated to fresh water fish. This club is for the study and enjoyment of these fish in Utah. Our activities include guest speakers about fishkeeping, fish auctions and socials. We have speakers on as many different fishes as possible. These speakers give presentations on collecting fish in the wild, keeping fish in the aquarium, and breeding freshwater aquarium fish. The club brings in speakers that are well known; and experts in their topic. The club is run by its members with three elected officials: President, Vice President, and Treasurer. Visitors are always welcome at our meetings. If you like fish you will enjoy attending our meetings in Utah. Club members can also offer advice based on years of fish keeping experience.

We are based in Madison, Wisconsin, but have members from all over south-central Wisconsin. Please come early if you need help entering auction items into the online system. Dues are: $25 for individuals and $40 for a family membership. Guest are able to attend General Meetings as well by paying door fees. single person = $5 per event family* = $8 per event * a ‘family’ is defined as a person, a spouse and their under the age of 18 dependents Plan on making a full afternoon of it and join us upstairs at the Hody for food and drinks with the speaker after the event.

gbasonline.org Founded in 1986, the Green Bay Aquarium Society (GBAS) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to further the study of all forms of aquatic life, to promote interest, exchange ideas, distribute information concerning the aquarium hobby, and to promote the breeding and display of aquatic life. Membership is open to anyone who shares these interests. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at the home of a club member. Currently, most members reside in Green Bay, the Fox Cities, or surrounding areas of Wisconsin. Our meetings are open to the general public.

theokaa.org The Oklahoma Aquarium Association is a general aquarium hobbyist group. Our members maintain fresh, brackish and marine aquariums. All persons interested in the hobby are welcome, from the novice to the advanced fishkeeper. Our members have kept and spawned many species in their aquaria. The OKC chapter meets the first saturday of each month. Every third meeting is held at member's house in the evening. The Tulsa chapter meets the second Sunday of each month. Meetings generally involve a door prize, a presentation and include an auction of live fish and plants. Participation in the monthly meetings is open to the public and there is no charge for attending. Membership dues are $20.00 per household and cover 12 months. Special discounted memberships are available to members of other aquarium specialty groups and non-voting out-of-state members for half price. Junior memberships are also available at half-price for members under 18 years of age. Membership benefits include discounts at area merchants, presentations on various aspects of aquatics given by nationally recognized speakers, participation in club auctions where you can acquire rare fish and plants for bargain basement prices, and club activities that include behind the scenes tours of public and commercial aquariums, as well as native fish collecting trips. Plus you will have the opportunity to develop friendships with other interested hobbyists and share information and experiences.

It was founded in the spring of 1972 for the express purpose of promoting the science of exotic freshwater and saltwater fish and plants, assisting new hobbyists, encouraging the breeding and displaying of all aquatic life, and acquiring and dispensing aquatic knowledge and literature. All persons with an interest in the aquarium hobby are welcomed and invited to attend two meetings before making any decision on membership.
