The British Koi-Keepers Society
The British Koi-Keepers Society Website: "bkks.webs.com/" Background: As a National body it is extremely important that the British Koi Keepers Society provides support for the local Koi Clubs. We consider these Clubs are a vital part of the hobby and it should be our role to provide a central infrastructure to assist them wherever possible. When the present Committee was elected in 2012 one of the biggest issues we needed to address was the relationship between the Society and affiliated Clubs, known as Sections. It was very clear that we needed to find a simpler way both to finance and manage the relationship to ensure we could provide the support needed both for existing Sections, and also to encourage the independent Clubs which aren’t currently a part of the BKKS.

Saltwater Enthusiasts Association of St. Louis
1 member Missouri
Website: seasl.org We are a group of enthusiasts who come together to share our knowledge and learn from others about our saltwater aquarium hobby. The purpose of SEASL is to promote responsible ornamental marine fish and reef-keeping husbandry practices among hobbyists in the St. Louis area. To achieve this goal, we meet to share our knowledge, host local and nationally known guest speakers, organize field trips, and engage in group discussions. We normally meet the second Saturday of the month from September through May, unless otherwise scheduled. Meetings often include coral door prizes and programs include speakers, and demonstrations. At various times during the year, local retailers host an open house for SEASL. Those events get large turnouts. The storeowners give us a tour of their operations, exclusive shopping time, discounts, a summary of their involvement in the hobby, and their personal attention for our questions and comments. Please see our Events page for details about our next meeting. We would love to see you there!
