New World Cichlids can live as far north as the temperate regions of the United States to as far south as the southern Amazon region. N.W. Cichlids are sought after for their coloration and shape; as well as, their impressive sizes and personalities. It is not uncommon for N.W. Cichlid owners to marvel at their pets intelligent personalities and boisterous behavior. Many N.W. Cichlids also display aggressive feeding habits that are popular with many aquarium hobbyists.
